Self Defence

We are approved by the British Judo Association as personal advisors to a common, national standard subject to annual re-certification.

Course 2 - Advanced Personal Safety

This can only be completed after course 1 has been successfully passed.

Section 1

· Review of all techniques in Course 1

· Blocking and takedowns
· Ground restraints

Section 2

· Strikes
· Ground defence from kicks
· Groundwork and restraints
· Edged weapon defence
· Working in a team

Section 3

· Review of sections 1 and 2
· Students practice all techniques
· Written examination and practical assessment
